About Dr. Jessica O'Reilly
Jessica is a Toronto-based sexologist registered with the American College of Sexologists. She has completed her Ph.D. in human sexuality and holds degrees in education and sexual diversity studies from the University of Toronto. As an educator, she views sex education as a lifelong process that addresses cognitive, affective and behavioural aspects of sexuality.
Her training includes courses in counselling skills, resolving sexual concerns, sex education, clinical sexology, sexual development, sex and disability, group therapy and erotology. Jessica loves her work and divides her time between public speaking engagements, freelance writing, program development, and consulting in the field of sexual health.
Jessica has worked as a Sexual Health Counsellor since 2001 and she genuinely cares about client comfort, education and results. She has extensive experience developing and delivering programs that address sexual health, sexual orientation, gender, safer sex, personal sexual enrichment, sex and popular culture and pleasure enhancement. Highlights of recent work include program development for the launch of a municipal sexual health information hotline (City of Fort McMurray), the creation of sexual health education programming for special needs youth (York Region) and the delivery of sexuality retreat seminars for couples (Desire Resort and Spa).
